What is Hydrographics?
To begin, hydrographic's has several names. Some of the names you might have heard are Water Transfer Printing, hydro dipping, Camo Dipping, and many more. You might ask what can hydrographic's be applied too? The answer is any object that is made from plastic, wood, glass, and metal. A rule of thumb is if it can be painted it can be dipped. Some of the most popular items to dip are guns, bows, automotive trim & bezels, wheels, computer cases, ATV's, golf carts, and many more! What is the Process?
For those that may not know the process of Water Transfer Printing (hydro graphics), it starts by scuffing up the item. Metal, Aluminum, or Plastics may be used for this process. Next, the item is cleaned and prepped. It is now ready for primer and base. After the base coat is laid, the part is dipped into any pattern you may choose. (we offer over 3,000 patterns!) Finally, when the item is dry, the clear coat finish is applied to the part(s).
All of our paint used is PPG automotive grade paint. This insures quality, durability, and strength in our products.
